Heath and Jennifer Harden have always dreamed of having their own family business and Harden Insurance, LLC is the result of many years of planning, praying, and finally making that dream a reality.
There are many ways to purchase an insurance policy these days, whether it be online, over the phone, or in person. There are multiple types of insurance companies and insurance agents to choose from. In this day and age, it’s all about choices and options. This is where the value of an independent broker agent comes to light. Put simply, they have the ability to offer more choices than a captive agent. Independent agents represent multiple insurance companies. This means they can look at your personal situation and shop your needs with several insurers to make the best recommendation for you. Each insurance company will have different rates, liability limits, and in some cases, coverage types, so it’s important to look at them all. A broker is especially helpful at the time your policy renews. If your insurance company changes their plan, or their rates, they can shop your coverage with different insurers to make sure you are still getting the best coverage for the best price. It has been reported that shopping your insurance coverage can save as much as $300-500 annually so let Harden Insurance do the work for you!
Heath has lived his entire life in the Hermitage community. He attended DuPont High School and Middle Tennessee State University and ran his own business for 30 years in the Hermitage, Donelson and Old Hickory area. He got his insurance license in 2007 and worked for a captive insurance company before deciding he liked the “broker” model better. This means he isn’t an employee of any one company. He is a small business owner and gets to decide which products and which companies best fit his client’s needs. His philosophy is to provide service above and beyond client’s expectations.
Jennifer started in the insurance business almost 25 years ago as an assistant to several captive life insurance agents. She got her license in 1996 and soon became a Principal Agent for a nationwide insurance brokerage specializing in long- term care. During her career Jennifer has cared for more than 70,000 policyholders all over the nation and has had the same clients for almost 20 years.
